Today I clicked on our blog and noticed that I haven't updated it since Roxana's 1st birthday which was almost 5 months ago!!! Where has the time gone?! She is growing so fast, learning so quickly! She is starting to talk, in polish and english, which is so cute!!! Walking,running,jumping,dancing,spining around,climbing... what a busy little bee :-) We find it hard to discipline her when she does something that she shouldn't, because her face just crackes us up when she knows she's doing something bad! :) I love to take pictures of her on daily basis...maybe sometimes I even "flash" to much, but I want to capture every moment of her life! On May 10th, 2011 we celebrated our baby girl's 1st birthday! We woke up at 6:30am, and right away came downstairs to open up the presents!At first she didn't know what was going on but after I started ripping the gift paper, she began to be more involved :) Roxana is such a wonderful girl, she brightens our day and brings smiles to our faces on daily basis! This year went by so fast, and she changed so much since the day she was born! We love you baby girl! :) Her Birthday party is this saturday so I will be adding some pics next week!!!

This year we put up our decorations a bit earlier than always, but I think it's because we were interested in how Roxana will react to all the lights on the Xmas tree since it's her 1st Christmas and she hasn't seen a Xmas tree before :)

Today at 9:24am, Roxana turned 6 months old..the time is flying by too quickly and she is definately growing up too fast!! WE are enjoying every moment spend with her, and she light up our day everyday!!! She is becoming a big girl, sitting up already with support, trying new solid foods, and gaining lots of weight. Today, Bogdi and I took little Roxana to get her ears pierced. We figured it would be a good time to do so, since she doesn't grab her ears yet that much, and she won't pull on them, so they can heal nicely and fast. She was a very good girl...only cried for a minute after the fact until I showed her a Bear that was there at Claire's where we pierced her ears. She looks sooo cute with her new pink stone little studs :))

On October 10th, Roxy and Marty flew in from Michigan to stay with us for 2 weeks. We had loads of fun and visited lots of cool places. It was nice to spend time together and we were very sad when they were leaving Us. After our visit in Poland, we drove to Romania and spend 2 weeks there with family and friends! Off course, everyone loved little Roxana, and some were amazed how good she is, so peaceful and happy all the time:) We had lots of fun and it was great to spend time with family and see friends! Visiting Poland !

On August 23rd, Roxana and I flew to Poland to be with the family and organize Roxana's baptism before Bogdi joins us for the rest of the vacation :) We had a great time, and everyone was sooooo happy to meet little Roxi and loved her to pieces!!! I was so proud to be there with our baby girl and show the world what a great baby we have! And loved all the comments on how beautiful our baby is and as my brother Karol said.. she will break many hearts when she starts to date, haha!!:) Here are some pics from the trip to Poland...and more coming soon from our stay in Romania! :-) Enjoy!

On May 10th, 2010 at 9:24am, we have welcomed our baby girl, Roxana Olivia :) She weighted 5lbs 15 oz :) Very tiny little angel :) From the first moment we saw her, she took our breath away! Our hearts are filled with love that can not be described in words! God has really blessed us and gave us a beautiful, healthy baby that we love very much! Hello Everybody! Im 21 weeks and 6 days today :)) I started kicking mommy about 2 weeks ago but she couldn't really tell if it was me but since yesterday I have been exercising alot and now she knows that its me! She tells me that she loves it when I kick her:) Its really nice and warm inside but can't wait to meet my daddy and mommy and the rest of the family! But I still have to stay inside till I get bigger and stronger so, here is a picture of me so you all know what I look like right now! :)

P.S. Daddy, I know you wanted me to be a boy, but Im gonna be fun too, you'll see, and u can always try to work on my "future" little baby brother !!! Love you daddy! :);)

I took a pic of myself today to see what my belly looks like cause I feel it growing :) So here is a belly shot at 15 weeks and 2 days :-)) On December 23rd, we have another ultrasound to make sure everything is ok and the baby is growing like he/she should...and if we are lucky and the baby is in the correct position we will find out the sex of the baby!!! Thank you all for the prayers and thoughts when I was going throught a hard time and complications in my first trimester!!! I feel better now and pray that everything will be alright until the baby is welcomed into the world! :-)

We enjoyed it very much, the weather was beautiful and off course we did not want to come back to the rainy England. On thursday i took a trip to see my old friend Magda from Poland that lives in London now. We had an awesome time together, it was akward at first cause we havent seen eachother for about 5 years, but after a while we had a great time, just like in the old days. Eden Project!

On saturday we took a trip about 1 hr away from Plymouth to see the famous Eden Project. It is a garden with two biomes, one was the Rainforest and the other Mediterranean biome. It was very interesting to see. In the Rainforest was so humid, for a minute we thought we are in the hot and humid summer day in America:) We had a great time! :))

Sorry I havent been updating the blog for a long time now, but have been busy with work and with things that are happenning everyday in our lives and had no time to update and keep u posted. Cpl of days ago, we had our 1st anniversary and I made a little video to remind ourselves that we have promised eachother to love one another, for better or worse till death do us apart! Like in any marriages, there are ups and downs, but the only ones that stay together like promised one another are the ones who are strong and true to eachother, and off course the most important thing is to want to work on it, but it takes two ppl to fix what has been broken. So with that said, hope you will like the video!

The best time of the year! :-) Just finished decorating the new "home" while listening to some great Christmas songs!!! We wish everyone a Merry Christmas, filled with love and warmth from one another! We are very sad, we cant spend Christmas with the family, and I can't even think about being away on Christmas and not being with my dad, my first year without having our Christmas Eve supper, thinking about it, makes me want to cry! On the other hand, Im excited to have my first Christmas with my brother here in England. We havent spend any holidays together for the past 15 years! We are also going to have my other brother for the holidays from Poland!:)

Last sunday, while Bogdi was at work, I took a trip with my brother and the family to see my sister-in-law's friend Natalia in Torquay, about an hr away from Plymouth. What a beautiful place! Its also one of the cities by the sea like Plymouth, but it was more nicer than here where we are now. I took alot of pics but most of them did not come out nice, maybe next time i go there, we will have a real camera and we'll be able to take nicer pics! :) Enjoy!! :)

Second week in England!

We took a cpl of new pics today infront of the house that we live in until the 22nd of August before we move in to our new apartment:):) and the rest of the pics were taken at my brothers! Sorry that the pics are not of a really good quality, but we dont have a camera yet, we can only take pics with our phone for now! The weather has been pretty depressing since we came here, its been raining all day long, everyday. I think there was only 3 days of nice,sunny weather... i guess we have to get used to wearing raincoats all the time and have an umbrella handy when we go out! We are getting home sick, but Roxy explained to me that it will take me about 6 months to get adjusted to the new lifestyle here, oh boy, thats a long time!!! It was nice to talk to you Roxy:):) We miss everyone and hope that when we settle here, you guys will come and visit us! :)

We came to Plymouth around 16:00 yesterday, which was the 31st of July. My brother picked us up from the airport and since then we have been spending time with them. We have rented a room in a house, which is a home that students rent when they attend the university here in Plymouth. We are looking for a flat and also I'm in the process of getting a job already:))) We don't have many pics from here yet but I'm posting some of the ones I took with the phone. I will try to update the blog as much as I can:))

So we are flying to England on the 31st of July! We are so excited to start our new life there. We have been pretty bored for the past 2 weeks, because the weather here has been very crappy, so we are counting down the hrs, I mean Bogdi is counting down the hrs, Im still counting the days hahaha!!! :) ROXY, I hope that maybe there is a Taco Bell sumhere in England, cause Im dying without it!!! :P We will have internet on daily basis there in England, so I will try to update the blog frequently:) We miss everyone so much! I try not to think about it, so I dont break down, but its hard... I was already thinking of a reason to go to Detroit soon, hahaha!!! :] Kisses & Hugs for everyone!!

We apologize for not updating the blog, but we have no internet in the apartment here were we live now, and if we get connected somehow thru the wireless, the signal is not strong enough to do anything, but today I figured I would try to see if I can update:)) Anyways, Im posting some pics of our stay here, and I promise when we get to England I will update the blog more often!! :)) We miss you guys !! :))

We decided to move to England in cpl of months,to where my brother lives with his family, to Plymouth, after we take care of everything that has to be done here, Bogdi will leave for Romania next month to take care of things there and I will probably fly to England a month or 2 after Bogdi leaves. I have been trying to get my surgery approved by the insurance but when you have the worst insurance in the whole wide world, things dont go as smoothly as they should, especially when you are in need of help. Lets hope for the best, because hope is what we have got right now! I guess if it doesnt happen here, I will have it in the UK...
Its been really quiet around the house with our Obi being gone. We had to find him a good family to go to, because we can't take our baby with us, since the UK put a ban on that kind of breed :( What a shame, that ppl gave that breed such a bad name, they are the best dogs ever!!! We miss him so much!!
We are excited to start our new live in the Uk, its so much closer to our home towns, but we will miss our family and friends here soooo much!!!! Maybe the family and friends can fly to visit us when they have a chance to go to Europe, and we will come back here as much as we can to see everyone!!! It will be so hard for me to get used to living there, the US has been my home for the past 15 yrs, and i know i will get home sick so many times, but i have to be strong, its the best thing for us right now, i just hope everything will be ok and we can get used to our "new home".
We will miss going to Manu's house and spending time with everyone there and seeing our nieces grow and do new things as children do as they grow up, going to Roxi's and playing games and cooking, going to my parents almost every sunday and eating my mom's delicious polish food, hanging out with our friends, having my girl's nite out with my girlfriends, watching my friends kids grow up and much more:)
But we are excited to be around our niece and nephew in England and spending time with them. When i spoke with Julia on skype she was so excited that we are coming there, all she wanted to do is talk with her new WUJEK ( uncle ) Bogdan, she didnt even pay attention to me haha!!! It was so cute to watch her type to Bogdi in English(broken english).. i enjoyed it very much haha! I dont think that Nickolas understand everything that is going on, since he is only 4 yrs old, but i guess he will understand when we are there :)

My whole family is scattered all over the world, my brother and his family lives in England, and it's the only part of my family that Im really close to. We talk alot on the net, see eachother thru the webcams, and miss eachother everyday! I would love to move to England to be close to them! So just a quick post, I woke up @ 6am this morning cause I couldnt sleep. Im too excited=) GOD PLEASE LET HIM GO THRU THAT WHITE DOOR WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS!!! =) im so nervous! I cant wait for Bellas reaction when she sees him, its gonna be cool! :) I remember when i was @ Manu's house and he knocked on the wood by the door, and Bella was like " who is it? ", She looks at me after a while, after she didnt believe that her pizza is knocking,and then she says" Its Bobo" it was sooo cute!! I read a cpl of interesting quotes and thoughts on the meaning of life that made me think about things I do and things I dont, about my friends, loved ones and my family!!! =)

Why is there something rather than nothing? We do not know. We will never know. Why? To what purpose? We do not know whether there is a purpose. But if it is true that nothing is born of nothing, the very existence of something – the world, the universe – would seem to imply that there has always been something: that being is eternal, uncreated, perhaps creator, and this is what some people call God.

Love gives meaning to our lives – as do friendship, or art or faith in God. These are factors of true happiness, of inner peace, of feelings of harmony, allowing meaning to our existence.But there is the other side. There is the cruelty of life, the pain, the evil, not to talk of death. They are the hidden tigers, ambushed and ready to attack the imprudent.

Is human life just a dream, from which we never really awake, as some great thinkers claim? Are we submerged by our feelings, by our loves and hates, by our ideas of good, bad, beautiful, awful? Are we incapable of knowing beyond those ideas and feelings?

Whether life is or is not worth the pain of being lived, or, rather, whether it is worth the pain and the pleasure of being live depends, first and foremost on one’s capacity for love.

No material object, however beautiful or valuable, can make us feel loved, because our deeper identity and true character is in the subjective nature of the mind.

What’s the good of dragging up sufferings which are over, or of being unhappy now just because you were then? (…) When troubles come to an end, the natural thing is to be glad.

When I say, then, that pleasure should be the end and aim of our lives, I do not mean the pleasures of the prodigal and the pleasures of sensuality, as we are understood to do by some through ignorance, prejudice, or wilful misrepresentation. By pleasure we mean the absence of pain in the body and of trouble in the soul.

Live joyfully with the woman whom you love the days which God has given you under the sun, for that is your portion in life.

The key to a happier world is the growth of compassion. We do not need to become religious, nor do we need to believe in an ideology. All that is necessary is for each of us to develop our good human qualities.

Without affections and subjectivity, the meaning of life would be lost, and it will only remain laws, equations, models and forms.

This morning, I woke up with lots of pain, and bleeding.... so i knew what was going on,so i went to the clinic,and I miscarried our baby @ 8 weeks. I'm so confused, and so sad, and so angry and everything else, that I just want to give up on everything all together. The worst thing is, I have no one to be by my side right now, but what can I do... life is brutal!At least i have my friends to keep me focused right now, and now I know what a TRUE friend means. If its not one thing then its another, there isnt much we can do, its written up there, what happens and what doesnt...... I just realized that there is no hell when we die, OUR LIFE is hell here on earth!!!!

So I flew back yesterday. I had a great time in RO. While being there, we visited many villages and cities. What amazed me the most was the old buildings, castles, and the way Romania looks with the changing of the leafs colors. It was beautiful, see for yourself! I could live there, if I only knew Romanian fluent, but i guess if I stayed there longer, i would catch up on the language. I met most of Bogdi's family, they are very good people. I felt very comfortable around everyone, i guess because they are warm and made me feel like Im a part of the family. I will miss them very much, and cant wait for the next time we'll see eachother! Hereare sum pics that we took while driving, visiting the castles, and the family. Enjoy :)

Ive been in RO for over a month, and enjoyed every minute of it, spent with Bogdi and his family. I have visited beautiful places here and Romania, and seen interesting things that romania offers. It makes me feel great to be here, i feel like im back home in Poland, its so similar accept nobody speaks my language! But its ok, Ive already picked up on Romanian being around Bogdan's dad and watching romanian TV! Maybe if I stayed here another month or 2, i would understand most of the language:)) We made lots of pics, but i will post them, when i come back home:))

I'm planning in going to Romania in the beginning of october to visit Bogdi for 2 weeks, and see his hometown! im so excited and cant wait to go! I hope everything will be as planned, i do have doubts because if i plan sumthing, it never works out the way i want to, but thats life! im just hoping that this time, God wont give me any troubles, so God i know your reading this too, so please make it happen !!! :))
I think i just realized today, that i have never loved anyone like I love Bobo. Ive always believed, that everything happens for a reason, maybe the reason for Us is to experience true love that lasts forever!

So.... bogdi left for Romania today, its gonna be so hard this time, so much harder than the last time, but we'll make it thru... 4 months is a long time, but when u love someone truly then u can wait forever, to spend your time with that person again. im kinda blah right now, dont know what to do, what to think, a lil confused, kinda lost in my own world. All i know is that i will try my best to be strong, and wait for the day we will be together again.

My grandma passed away this morning in Poland. I really dont know how to feel,and what to say a this moment, the only thing that bothers me is that i didnt see her for 3 yrs, and i was planning to go in August to visit her, but God decided to take her away before I could see, touch, talk and hug her, and tell her that i love her very much! She lived for a long time, she was 92 yrs old! Now she is on the other side, watching over me! Hope she will be my guardian angel!
